How Can I Create an Online Coaching Business That Actually Works?

Joshua Black asked:

There are hundreds of coaching businesses out there, all with varying degrees of success, just like any other business. In most coaching programs, the drop out rates are terrible. Read on to find out how you can create a coaching program like the best in the industry, and keep your clients coming back month after month.

With coaching programs, the current drop-out rate is horrendous, with something around 25-30% per month. That means out of 100 people, you have to add 25 NEW customers every month, just to stay at the same level. You are replacing all of your customers every 4 months! That is a non-sustainable business model and most coaching programs that run this way do not stay in business for long, which is good for you.

The big complaints that many customers have is that the coach does not spend enough time with them, does not give homework, and generally does not provide enough worthwhile content to keep paying the monthly fee over and over. They also complain that the coaches try to take on as many new clients as possible, which also leads to short, non-descriptive responses when they do hear back from the coach.

So how can you be different? How can you become a coach that is closer to the best in the business at only 5% attrition per month? Well the answer is simple, but not easy. You have to put in the time. You have to give amazing results and you have to communicate with your clients in the way that motivates them to keep going with their business and their life.

By creating a small class of customers (lets keep at 50 or below), you will be able to answer all of their questions in a timely manner. Create a course outline with homework every week, where they have to turn it in before they can move on. Make it so the customer gets a certification from you at the end, but they can also fail it and lose their money if they don’t put in the work. You can really motivate people when you dangle success in front of them and also threaten to take away their money if they don’t keep plugging away at their project.

This model will not only create successful, happy customers, but they will see the direct benefit of the work you are doing and they will come back for more each month. If you put in the work with your coaching program your customers will see it and you will be very pleased with the results.

Run A Free Background Check Online

Jamie Randall asked:

There are various times when being able to run a free background check online would prove useful. Maybe you have a bad feeling about the guy your daughter is seeing and you want to know more about his past. Or maybe you’re a small business owner and you’re having doubts about one of your employees. Or perhaps you want to know more about a prospective business partner before you commit to doing business with them.

Whatever your reasons, online background checks are a useful and effective way to learn more about someone. You can learn about their criminal record, liens, bankruptcies, aliases, and all sorts of other information with just a few clicks of your mouse.

But before we go any further there’s something I want to tell you right off the bat. There is no such thing as an absolutely free background check. Sure, there are some websites that can give you basic details on a person for free. But it will be nothing but worthless information that will do you no good at all. Remember the old saying, “You get what you pay for.” If you pay nothing you can expect to get nothing in return.

Fortunately there are some legitimate companies that allow you to run an online background check for a small fee. Prices can vary but most sites charge around $40-$60 for a single background check. For an extra $10 or so you can sign up for a membership that allows you to run an unlimited number of searches. This is a great deal because you can run searches on anyone you want without paying any additional fees.

Online Accountancy Programs – Information For Prospective Learners

Frank Johnson I asked:

At the end of each fiscal year, what is the most pressing matter on the minds of every earning man or woman? The dreaded filing of the tax return! What else? Every year millions upon millions make an unavoidable appointment with a tax accountant and this doesn’t stop here. Corporations, big or small, government departments, even NGOs and small grocery stores need accounting services which are required by law and just part of the general concept of good practice in the world or money. Becoming an accountant can help not only earn a lot of money, an online accounting certification or short course can get you a career opportunity with large organizations or simply help you do the taxes for yourself, your family or friends and even your own business.

Areas and types of accounting:

The most well known type of accounting in use are tax and financial accounting, things we encounter in our everyday lives while paying taxes and budgeting our monthly income to buy food and pay bills and rent etc. On a professional level, accounting is the reporting of financial information about a person or company (any business entity that makes an investment and reaps a profit or loss return). This information is used by any interested party to access the health of the business entity.

Financial accounting:

The collection and reporting of financial information to users outside of the company (like banks, investors of the SEC etc) is called financial accounting and this takes place at the corporate level. Legal requirements and financial market requirements (as well as conventions of good practice) require that businesses perform financial reporting, at least once every year. A profit of loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement are all included in this type of reporting.

Management accounting:

Management accounting is the internal form of accounting which helps managers and business owners make decisions relating to issues like budgeting or sales profitability. This is internally reported accounting and is not used by external users as mentioned above.

Tax accounting:

This type of accounting applies to everyone everywhere. Jurisdictional law requires that a tax return is filed for every financial entity (a person or small or big business) and this return is based on the accounting of expenses and income (for instance) to calculate taxable income.

Accounting scholarship:

This is the academic discipline of accounting and addresses the formulation and analysis of accounting theory and principles. This form is usually a teaching related area.

Financial auditing:

The audit of financial statements (or the review of financial statements) is called financial auditing. This is done by external auditors – experts in accounting – who review the financial reports of a company and certify that these statements are relevant, accurate and complete, fairly presented and are constructed by following the standards required by the SEC and the users of this information.

Financial auditing is the most diverse and lucrative area in accounting; learning to become an auditor takes practice and a high level of education.
